Marketing for Waxwing Theatre. It's a new theatre group based in Islington. We are currently in rehearsal for our first play No One Sees the Video by Martin Crimp. The show starts on the 21st of May and ends on the 31st at the Rosemary Branch Theatre. MARTIN CRIMP'S ROYAL COURT DEBUT RETURNS TO THE LONDON STAGE

As leading British playwright Martin Crimp's latest work, The City, premieres at the Royal Court, exciting young company Waxwing Theatre rediscovers No-one Sees The Video, the play that first launched his career at the venue 18 years ago.

If you can take some advice then. Go for using facebook as a means of advertising along with getting the cast to attach a flyer of the show to every email they and your good self send out (to anyone). Use members phone books in their mobiles to en-masse send texts to all and sundry and finally, use any themes from the show (videos seem to be an obvious one) to contact local retailers to see if they would like to use your show to promote their goods/services in exchange for 'free advertising'. Also, see if you can sell a performance to an appropriate charity's membership. THEY are then responsible for selling the tickets and keep a small donation of ticket sales.
