Stuff, Nonsense and Greed!

Can anyone help me make head or tail of the fact that my company is not allowed by law, under the FSA 2002 to approach possible investors or even to advertise on our website for people to invest in our musical. It seems that theatre investment is so risky that the public needs protection. It doesn't matter that an individual can lose thousands overnight on the stock exchange or even by investing in something as safe as houses, ie Northern Rock. thanks Colin. I worked originally with the Manoff puppets, in Summer shows & panto', before they became a sig success in the States. Interesting to see the huge productions he has been involved with since then,(errol manoff's fantasy factory).best wishes,david.
