Profile Information

What I do... (Actor, director, designer, teacher etc?)
Mokita Productions was established to promote work of an exciting, raw, passionate and original nature that seeks to emotionally and intellectually challenge both its collaborators and its audience. We are a company specialising in new writing and developing work with new and emerging writers – we aim to give talent a voice. This talent is not restricted to writing talent, we are also firmly committed to encouraging new and emerging practitioners in all fields, be it in directing, producing, writing, design, technical theatre, or acting. We are looking to provide opportunities for people to gain experience in the theatre environment and develop skills and vision within a challenging but supportive community.
My Quick CV
Following on from a few rehearsed readings we produced our first production in February this year at the Pacific Playhouse, London - 'Involution' by Rachel Welch. We shall be taking this successful show (**** - TimeOut) to the Pleasance Theatre for the whole of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The first thing that inspired me in theatre...
Personally, the first thing that truly inspired me was 'Out of a House Walked a Man' by Complicite.
My favourite theatre something is...
The hubbub before the lights dim.
The thing that annoys me about our industry...
self-indulgence
