Inspired by a diverse range of companies such as 'The Donmar' and 'Shared Experience' our company works in a collaborative ensemble process, by experimenting and exploring the style, text and vision we hope to produce the best in fringe work.

Profile Information

What I do... (Actor, director, designer, teacher etc?)
Last year I resigned from my job as Assistant Box Office Manager for the Ambassadors complex in Woking, so that I could concentrate more on trying to get into theatre producing - have spent the last year working on a couple of productions, participating in the Stage One Workshop for New Producers, and working with a sketch comedy group who have gained a monthly residency at the Canal Cafe and will be travelling to Brighton and Edinburgh Fringes this summer.

Also keen to meet like-minded new people in all areas of the industry who are just starting out on their careers and looking for a way in, the opportunities seem to be so few, so let's create them ourselves, rather than waiting for them to find us!
My Quick CV
2004 - BA (Hons) Classical Studies and Drama, Royal Holloway, University of London

2005 - MA Greek Theatre Performance, Royal Holloway, University of London

2006 - Production Assistant and Stage Manager - 'Macbeth' (The Troika Collective) - New Wimbledon Studio, November 2006

2007 - Co-Producer - 'The Brother - A True Story' (Big Belly Productions) - Lion and Unicorn, Kentish Town, July 2007

2007 - Producer and Stage Manager - 'Utter Bellocs' (Discombobulated and Me) - White Bear, Kennington, August-September 2007

2007-2008 - Producer and Stage Manager - 'The Cabinet of Dr Caligari' (Discombobulated and Me) - White Bear, Kennington, April-May 2008

2008 - Producer, Stage Manager and Performer - 'Utter Bellocs' (Discombobulated and Me) - The Hope, Brighton Fringe, May 2008, and The Victoria Club, Arundel Town Festival, August 2008

2008 - Producer and Stage Manager - 'Unsupervised Detention' (Unsupervised Detention) - Canal Cafe Theatre, Little Venice, monthly shows Sept 2008-date
The first thing that inspired me in theatre...
Loved it from the moment I was a bell in a nativity play when I was three, and couldn't get enough of it since... And I was always the kid who got up on stage at pantomimes too!
My favourite theatre something is...
the buzz of adrenaline before a first night
The thing that annoys me about our industry...
how difficult it is to get funding for fringe shows

'THE CABINET OF DOCTOR CALIGARI' - White Bear Theatre, Kennington, 22nd April-11th May - book now!

Hi all, hope you'll be able to make it along to the show I am currently producing - The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari, at The White Bear Theatre in Kennington, 22nd April-11th May.

Based on the 1920 German masterpiece of expressionist horror, Discombobulated and Me's The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari embarks on a perverse tale of murderous prophecy, twisted love triangles and obsessive psychoses, all set in a surreally paranoid dreamscape.

Throwing large doses of slapstick, highly char… Continue

'Utter Bellocs' - 28th August-2nd September, White Bear, Kennington

The show is inspired by Hilaire Belloc’s contentious life and his deliriously twisted Cautionary Verse. Written early last century, and early in his career, Belloc was apparently attacking the hypocrisy of the Edwardian establishment and the British preoccupation with humbug (not humbugs – w

Hi Mill, I'm sorry can't make the show this week but seriously wish you the best of luck with it. I think you're totally right to be creating work and not just waiting for others to come and offer you something, so congrats and look forward to seeing you soon. Suzy
