British Theatre

This is a facinating development for the theatre community in Britain. I wish it every success.

Hi Scott,

Apologies for the message from a stranger. Do you by any chance know Nazli Tabatabai who worked at QMU a few years ago - I'm not sure if she's still there? She directed a project at Theatre Workshop which I got involved with a few days before it opened [isn't that always the way..?] It would be lovely to get back in touch with her again if you happen to know where I might be able to contact her. Either way, it was interesting discovering your profile..

Thanks and best wishes,

Zinta x

They are crazy! They are a fantastic company, a great ensemble who have a strong, serious approach to their work. It has been a joy to work with them and I can't wait for their next project.

If you get a chance catch their first production at the Fringe this year. I'll email everyone round fliers and the like.

I am a little biased, it has been a very emotional journey with this new company, but I certainly expect to see good things from them in the future.

Hi Liz, Penned by my own hand indeed. :o) I agree with your observations about this site but if the network is open to everyone regardless of who or what they are how do you know whether someone is a professional or an amateur. Ive nothing against amateurs but both sectors live in very different worlds with very different standards etc. Im not sure that this will be as productive an environment for some as it is for others. And it may throw up a few problems too. Does Marcus vet applicants or are we likely to be swamped by nutcases and wannabes. This busines does attract that element as we have seen with the XFactor syndrome. Thats not particularly healthy. What do you think/

Hey Scott (love the cute dog, did you draw that?!)
So far, I'm liking the fact that I'm getting to 'meet' so many interesting people involved in all aspects of the acting world. It's also a great opportunity to promote your work... I'm sure the lovely people on this site will go out of their way to support plays/projects/events their new friends are involved in. And, at least so far, it's all FREE! Now who can argue with that?

Hello folks, Im interested to know what people like or dislike about this new network. Is it working for you?
