Theatre Experience

Dear all, at the moment I am applying for experience and jobs in london theatre with an eye to direction and writing, before hopefully doing an Ma in directing at a london drama college.

Eventually i would like to start putting on my own fringe theatre work and do some producing.

If anyone has has any tips on experience or places to get some, as well as any salient jobs they have heard about please let me know as it would be a really great help. thanks, as ever,

You can direct some stuff at the group if you like. Also, I might be staging some 1 Act Italian plays in Jan/Feb (at The Italian Cultural Institute) & if it goes ahead, would be looking for a director or 2. That's if you want the experience? Did you know there is already a director called James Barry? He is based at the Theatre Royal in Winchester. May be a tad confusing, love. I think he also writes.
