My Quick CV: 20 years experience as a solo performer and musician with numerous bands through the UK & USA. Songwriter. Resident musician in many London venues over the years. Jazz pianist for money when broke. Composer of music for tv [including 'Wonderful You' 'The Morning Show' 'A Good Man Is Hard To Find'/ feature film ['Morris: A LIfe With Bells] & theatre [including 'Alice In Wonderland' ' A Trip To Scarborough' at Stoke on Trent] 3 albums under various guises. Writer & performer in 'The Fall & Rise Of Lenny Smallman' at the Yvonne Arnaud Mill Theatre Guildford, and Arts Theatre London West End.

The first thing that inspired me in theatre...: The quiet electrical hum as the house lights went down, just before the stage lights came blazing up. I still find it inspiring now.

My favourite theatre something is...: The belief that one day all the hard work will make sense.

The thing that annoys me about our industry...: Pretentiousness, jobsworths and dull but expensive programmes that rip-off the audience.
