BLAH:
I won The Chichester Festival Theatre's Playwright Slams in 2005, and am apparently a 'Hot New Talent' according the The Radio Times. I'm one of The Old Vic's New Voices, as of 2003 when my play, Sugared Grapefruit was submitted for their NY exchance and given a rehearsed reading at The Old Vic. The Stage reviewed one of my plays as; ‘A poignant story… by promising young playwright, Ed Harris… clear voiced and clear sighted.' It was actually one of my characters they described as 'clear voiced and clear sighted' but I always pretend they were talking about me and put it on my CV as such. (Don't tell anyone.) Since then, I've been lavishly described as being able 'to set the world alight' with The Cow Play, which I thought was very kind, in a terrifying kind of way.

I also do poetry gigs whenever possible.

Porshia, The Friday Evening Play, Radio 4 (27.04.07)

'When was the last time you heard a woman orgasm on Radio 4? [Porshia] is no ratings-grabbing piece of sordid titillation, however... It twists the traditional assumptions of what men like about women and women like about men. Given the raw subject matter, the language is surprisingly poetic, with lines like "But hope recedes like hairlines into well-behaved side partings" lingering long after memories of the audio orgasm have faded. Undoubtedly the drama of the week." - The Radio Tim

LUCY

"Fifty years on from now, Britain will still be the country of long shadows on county [cricket] grounds, warm beer, invincible green suburbs, dog lovers and old maids bicycling to Holy Communion through the morning mist."
- John Major [PM]

LUCY is a wild dystopian farce about hysteria, corru

Hi Ed! I've recently taken up the post of Community Arts Coordinator at Roding Valley High School - Performing Arts College in Loughton, Essex and I'm currently trying to put together a bank or artists to help on our community projects but I'm also looking for industry professionals who would be willing to come in and speak to our students at careers events and to help with our Arts Award course. Would you be interested in helping us out?! You can get hold of me on communityartscoordinator@googlemail.com Thanks, I look forwarf to hearing from you! Jen :o)
