Secret Cinema presents Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Immersive Adventure

Captain Jack Sparrow's world is coming to Greenwich. Secret Cinema presents Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Immersive Adventure opens in London on 16 February 2027, bringing the story of The Curse of the Black Pearl into a live environment of theatrical performances, stunts and special effects. The announced season runs for ten weeks at Secret Cinema's new Greenwich Peninsula venue.

Inside the Pirates of the Caribbean immersive experience

The adventure follows Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann into the world of the Black Pearl. Secret Cinema combines performers with projections and effects around the audience, while a live band and activities give visitors more to explore. The producer describes pirate training and a game of Liar's Dice among the attractions of its immersive world.

Doors open an hour before the performance, allowing time to explore Pirate Cove and visit the themed food and drink outlets. Costume is encouraged: pirate, smuggler or high-society outfits all fit the setting. Keep props simple, though. The venue's admission rules prohibit toy weapons as well as real ones.

Which Pirates of the Caribbean ticket should you choose?

The producer advertises two ticket formats. Your choice depends on how you want to experience the show:

• General Admission: a standing experience for visitors comfortable being on their feet.
• Roam and Return: a dedicated seat to return to after exploring. Choose this format if having a seat is a priority.

Secret Cinema's new Greenwich Peninsula home

The venue is on Olympian Way, Greenwich Peninsula, London SE10, by the Thames. North Greenwich is the nearest Underground station, around five minutes away on foot. It is served by the Jubilee line; use North Greenwich when planning your route, rather than Greenwich railway station.

Visitors can also arrive by river, with Uber Boat by Thames Clippers serving North Greenwich Pier. Check the transport timetable for your return journey, particularly after an evening performance. Allow time to reach the entrance before the start time: the organiser may refuse admission to late arrivals.

Planning your visit

Disney Tickets currently lists an approximate running time of 2 hours 30 minutes. Allow extra time if you want to use the early-entry hour. Age guidance differs by performance, so check the session-specific rules in the FAQs below before choosing a date.

Expect loud sound, darkness, flashing lights, smoke or haze and crowds. Most of the experience is at ground level, but there are also raised areas and seating. Contact the venue before booking to discuss access requirements and the most suitable ticket format.

Cast and creative team

The production is presented by Secret Cinema. The announced leadership includes Merritt Baer, Artistic Director and Producer; Ben Hosford, Executive Producer; and Matt Costain, Creative Director. The full creative team and individual performers have not yet been announced on the producer's creative-team page.
