自2002年起,多米尼恩成为《We Will Rock You》的驻演剧院。 演出阵容、场次时间及演出时长等详情,尽在 BritishTheatre.com 查看。

Built between 1928 and 1929, The Dominion theatre had to be hastily converted into a cinema when live entertainment alone was proving bad for the business. After 1957’s The Judy Garland show, the theatre became a popular venue for musical theatre and musical performances. 1958 saw the opening of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific, which ran for over 4 years, and their 1965 follow-up The Sound of Music proved even more successful. When the business began to falter again, the Dominion looked to extend its reach beyond traditional theatrical confines.
Throughout the 1970s and 80’s, it played host to a number of successful rock and pop groups, including David Essex, Randy Newman, Dolly Parton, Thin Lizzy, U2, David Bowie and Duran Duran. In between these concerts, the theatre regularly hosted ballet and opera performances. For the premiere of the 1986 musical Time, the theatre interior was painted black. While receiving mixed reviews, the show ran for 2 years.
The theatre was threatened with closure (despite its Grade 2 listed status), but a Save Our Theatre campaign spared it that fate in 1991. The 1990s saw the theatre hosting the Royal Variety Performance on a number of occasions, as well as the now legendary Bill Hicks comedy special Revelations.
Since 2002, the Dominion has been the home of We Will Rock You. Due to close in 2006, popular demand has meant the show has been extended indefinitely. The 11-year run makes it the longest running production in the history of the theatre.

The single best place to sit at the Dominion Theatre is the central Stalls, roughly rows D to H, where you are close enough to read every expression but far enough back to take in the huge stage. If you would rather sit higher for a fuller view of the choreography, the front and centre of the Circle is the strong alternative. The auditorium holds just over 2,000 across two levels, the Stalls and the Circle (sometimes styled the Dress Circle).
| Level | Best for | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Stalls | Closeness and clear, level sightlines to the stage. | The Circle overhang clips the top of the stage from the rear rows. The far ends of rows and the extreme front rows lose some of the wide staging. |
| Circle | A full, elevated view of the whole stage and the big set pieces. | Reached by stairs only, with no lift. Front and rearmost rows sit behind safety rails, and the outer side blocks can feel detached from the action. |
For The Devil Wears Prada, aim for the central Stalls around rows D to H, where the balance of proximity and clean sightlines is at its best on a stage this wide. The front and central rows of the Circle are the pick higher up, giving you the whole runway of the staging in one sweep.
The Circle overhang begins to cut across the rear Stalls, so seats towards the back can lose the very top of the stage. In the Circle itself, the front and rearmost rows sit behind safety rails and handrails that the venue advises against for anyone under roughly 1.6m, and the outer side blocks are angled away from the centre. The first few Stalls rows are very close to a large stage, so some of the bigger visual moments can pass overhead.
The rear and mid Stalls behind the overhang line, and the middle rows of the Circle, tend to offer the strongest views for the money, and seats at the ends of rows are often cheaper while still facing the stage well. If you are not sure which level suits you, our West End seating guide explains how the levels compare. Compare live prices and seat availability across every section at The Devil Wears Prada.
Fully accessible foyer. Box for wheelchair users and lift available.
Are there adapted toilets?
An adapted toilet is available at stalls level.
Are there facilities for the hard-of-hearing?
There is an infrared system working throughout the auditorium with both loop and conventional headsets. Sign-interpreted performances are also available.
Are guide dogs and/or hearing dogs permitted?
Guide dogs are most welcome everywhere in the theatre, and may be taken into the auditorium if required. Please contact the theatre directly for further information.

Went to see The Devil wears Prada for the first time. It was lovely. Staff were great, very attentive. Didn't take long after we got into the que. It moved very quickly with bag checks and scanning tickets. Then right into the venue. Very smooth service during the intervals, drinks were reasonably priced and good variety, toilets were nice and clean. I will definitely be back for another show!
Went for Devil wears Prada- which was absolutely amazingggg- 2.5 hours long with one interval. The theatre is huge, with an open welcome plan- 2-3 small kiosks for drinks/basic snacks. The staff were kind- even to those who were taking a video of the performance. Good visit.
Beautiful theatre. Seats are comfortable and somewhat spacious, definitely better than Ryanair aeroplane seats. The decoration is nice and classic. There aren’t many columns so basically all seats have good views. We watched the Devil wears Prada here. The storyline is pretty the same as the movie. The security checks move quite quickly. I’ll suggest to arrive 20-30 mins before the show time so you can relax, get a drink, use the loo and catch up with your friends before it starts.
From entering the theatre we were warmly welcomed. Walked round to the step free access Box for our seats, the hostess was fabulous. She looked after us with drinks and snacks, from start to interval to us leaving. Comfortable seating, great view and amazing show, The Devil wears Prada. Lovely afternoon at the theatre. ☆☆☆☆☆

The central Stalls, roughly rows D to H, give the best mix of closeness and clear sightlines on this wide stage. For an elevated view of the full staging, the front and central rows of the Circle are the strongest choice higher up.
The Circle overhang clips the top of the stage from the rear Stalls, and the far ends of rows lose part of the wide staging. In the Circle, the front and rearmost rows sit behind safety rails, which the venue advises against for anyone under about 1.6m, and the outer side blocks are angled away from the centre.
The Dominion Theatre seats just over 2,000, commonly cited as around 2,083. It is split across two levels, the Stalls and the Circle, with the Stalls holding the larger share.
Yes. The Stalls are reached step-free from the foyer via a platform lift, and there are wheelchair spaces in the Stalls and in the street-level Nederlander Box. The Circle is stairs only with no lift, so it is not suitable for wheelchair users or anyone with limited mobility.
The rear and mid Stalls behind the overhang line, and the middle rows of the Circle, tend to give the best views for the money. Seats at the ends of rows are often cheaper while still facing the stage well.
