Autumn Spells at Theatre Royal Brighton: a 55-minute interactive trail for children aged 4-7 with wand-making and potions. Book tickets today.
Autumn Spells is an interactive trail around Theatre Royal Brighton, presented by The Fairy Preservation Society. Children aged 4 to 7 and their grown-ups follow a secret route through the building, making a magic wand, drinking a special potion, casting a spell, and listening to a seasonal story about witches and fairy folk.
Rather than sitting in the auditorium, participants move around the theatre, taking part in a sequence of hands-on activities at different stops: wand-making, potion-drinking, spell-casting and storytelling. The whole event lasts 55 minutes.
Every person attending needs a ticket, adults and children alike. The trail moves through the building and includes stairs, which is worth bearing in mind for anyone with mobility considerations. Doors open five minutes before the advertised start time.
These are the dates listed by ATG as checked on 21 September 2026. A date range may contain selected performances, rather than a show every day. Open your chosen venue link for exact times, seats and current prices.
