Books and Boogie is a weekly creative learning session for babies aged 3 to 24 months and their grown-ups, held in the foyer of Aylesbury Waterside Theatre every Tuesday at 11am. Each 45-minute session blends storytime, movement, songs and colourful props, delivered by Books and Boogie in partnership with ATG INSPIRE.

What happens in a session

Rather than asking babies to sit quietly, each session invites them to move with the story. Narrative moments prompt dancing, actions and simple rhythms, helping little ones explore characters and emotions through play and imagination. The format is designed to stretch attention spans gently while keeping energy lively.

Sessions take place in the theatre foyer, and the programme uses colourful props to bring stories to life.

Block booking and who it suits
