Musical Makers at Grand Opera House York: a workshop for ages 12-15 to learn West End songs and dance, then perform on stage. Explore booking details.
Musical Makers is a workshop at Grand Opera House York for young performers aged 12 to 15. Participants learn a song and a dance from a West End musical, then share what they have rehearsed on the Grand Opera House York stage in front of friends and family.
The session draws on West End musical repertoire, with titles including Hairspray, Legally Blonde, Six, Wicked and Hamilton cited as examples. By the end of the session, participants will have worked on both a vocal number and a dance, ready to share on the Grand Opera House York stage. The workshop is described as a fun and joyful event, and no prior experience is needed to join.
Anyone with questions about the session or with access requirements can contact the team at YorkInspire@atgentertainment.com before attending.
