Stories with Skip Dinosaur Day at Theatre Royal Brighton is a 45-min session of themed play, crafts and storytelling for ages 2.5 to 4. Book tickets.
Stories with Skip – Dinosaur Day is a 45-minute creative learning session at Theatre Royal Brighton for children aged two and a half to four and their grown-ups. The dinosaur theme runs through games, a short craft activity, and a story, with the venue's mouse mascot Skip sometimes spotted along the way.
The session starts in the stalls foyer, where themed objects are available for children to see, touch, and play with. The group then moves into the auditorium to search, collect, and play between the seats, followed by a mini make craft activity. It ends with a story in the upstairs lounge, which the venue describes as cosy and relaxing.
Skip the mouse is the mascot for the venue's children's programme and occasionally appears during sessions, giving children an extra reason to stay alert as they explore the building.
Both the child and their accompanying adult each need a ticket. The session is recommended for ages two and a half to four. Front doors open five minutes before the start time.
These are the dates listed by ATG as checked on 21 September 2026. A date range may contain selected performances, rather than a show every day. Open your chosen venue link for exact times, seats and current prices.
