BOST Musicals presents Elf The Musical tickets in Liverpool

BOST Musicals brings Elf The Musical to the Liverpool Empire for Christmas 2026 as a non-professional production. Buddy the misfit elf travels from the North Pole to New York City in search of his biological father, carrying Christmas cheer into a world wholly unprepared for it.

The story on stage

As an infant, Buddy inadvertently stows away in Santa's toy sack and is raised among elves at the North Pole. Growing up conspicuously taller and considerably less adept at toy-making than his colleagues, he eventually learns the truth about his origins and travels to Manhattan to find his real father, a man who has landed himself near the top of the Naughty List. The musical follows Buddy's collision with city life, his discovery of what family means, a budding romance, and a climactic rescue when Santa's sleigh comes down in Central Park.

This production

Staged by BOST Musicals, who performed Les Misérables in 2025, the show features musical numbers, choreography, dancing Santas and a flying sleigh sequence set against a festive New York backdrop.

Audience considerations

The production is recommended for ages five and above. The Liverpool Empire operates a strict no-admittance policy for children under three, so families with very young children should bear this in mind before booking.
