What the session involves

Participants enter through the Stage Door on Bond Street and work on the Theatre Royal Brighton stage. The class begins with a musical theatre warm-up before moving into learning a routine from Legally Blonde, and closes with a Q&A with Jodie Steele.

Friends and family are invited onto the stage for the final ten minutes of each session to watch the routine and join the Q&A.

About the workshop leader

Jodie Steele’s Legally Blonde credits include Margot and a concert appearance as Paulette Bonafonté. Her advertised work also includes Elphaba in Wicked and Heather Chandler in Heathers.

Brighton (BTN) railway station is about a 10 minute walk from the theatre, or roughly 4 minutes by taxi, with the walking route running along Queen's Road and through North Laine. The station has frequent services to London and across the South East.

Bus

Numerous Brighton & Hove Buses services stop along North Street, around 2 minutes' walk away. The closest stops are B, C, X and Y, served by routes 1, 1A, 2, 5, 5A, 5B, N5, 7, 12, 12A, 12X, 18, 21, 22, 25, 46, 55 and 60.

Parking

The nearest car park is the NCP Theatre Car Park on Church Street, BN1 1US. The theatre has no parking of its own, but there are three disabled bays on New Road just outside the theatre for Blue Badge holders, and four Access parking spaces on New Road about 25 metres from the venue, outside the accountancy firm Lucraft, Hodgson & Dawes and the restaurant Tonkotsu. Taxis can drop off and pick up directly outside.
