The West End's Emerald City is marking Wicked Day this weekend with a new charity partnership and a fresh set of production photographs. Which charity is the weekend supporting?
This year's charity partner is the youth charity Ditch The Label, which supports the young with bullying, mental health, relationships and identity. The London production will make a donation to the charity across the celebration weekend.
Ditch The Label combines research, education and direct support so youngsters can navigate the digital world safely and confidently, offering free programmes including one to one mentoring and counselling. Members of its youth advisory boards joined the musical's 20th anniversary performance on 25 September.
Lucy Churchill, Head of Partnerships at Ditch The Label, said: "Wicked is a story about growth, finding your voice and becoming who you are meant to be. Young people growing up online today are doing the same thing, often under a lot of pressure. That shared belief in what young people can achieve with the right support is at the heart of this partnership."

What do the new photos show?
The new images by Mark Senior capture the current London cast in full flight. Emma Kingston plays Elphaba and Zizi Strallen plays Glinda, seen together in the lead image in Glinda's dormitory at Shiz University. Kingston also takes to the air in a broom wielding moment under a blaze of blue light, while another shot finds Claire Machin as Madame Morrible at the head of the classroom, with David McKechnie as Doctor Dillamond.

Who is in the London cast?
Alongside Kingston and Strallen, the cast is led by Jordan Litz as Fiyero, Claire Machin as Madame Morrible and Michael Matus as The Wizard, with Ross Carpenter as Boq, Yara Fabricante as Nessarose and David McKechnie as Doctor Dillamond. Laura Emmitt is the alternate Elphaba and Lydia Gerrard is standby for Glinda.
How long has it been running?
Wicked premiered in the West End on 27 September 2006 and has played more than 7,700 performances at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. Now in its 20th year, it is the ninth longest running West End production in British history. With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman, based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, the show tells the untold story of the friendship between Elphaba and Glinda before Dorothy ever arrived in Oz.
From January 2027 the musical moves to a Monday to Saturday schedule. It is now booking at the Apollo Victoria Theatre until 30 May 2027. See dates and tickets for Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre.
