Scottish Opera hosts the National Opera Studio's 2026/27 cohort for a one-week residency of coaching with its Music Department and The Orchestra of Scottish Opera, concluding in a public showcase of operatic scenes and extracts at the Theatre Royal Glasgow.
Scottish Opera is a partner organisation of the National Opera Studio. The 2026/27 NOS cohort, described as rising star singers and repetiteurs from around the world, spend a week in Glasgow working with Scottish Opera's Music Department and The Orchestra of Scottish Opera. The residency concludes with a showcase performance of operatic scenes and extracts on the Theatre Royal Glasgow stage.
The showcase runs for approximately one hour and thirty minutes. Scottish Opera gives an age guidance of 12 and over.
