It forms part of the REVISION ON TOUR programme, in which Charles Dickens, aided by his tour manager George Dolby, must cover more than thirty characters after the rest of the cast is stranded on a train.

With Dickens aided by Dolby as he tackles Ebenezer Scrooge and more than thirty other characters, the show asks whether the pair can pull off the performance. Directed by Ryan Philpott with music by Paul Higgs, it sits within the company's REVISION ON TOUR strand, which adapts classic English GCSE texts for student groups and general audiences.

Woking railway station is about a 5-minute walk from the theatre. Trains from London Waterloo take roughly 25 to 30 minutes, and there are also direct services from Portsmouth, Basingstoke and Southampton.

The nearest options are the Victoria Place car parks (Red, Green, Blue and Yellow, GU21 6GQ), which are closest to the Peacocks Centre entrance, and Brewery Road Car Park (GU21 4ND), closest to the Gloucester Square side of the complex. The theatre has no designated bays of its own, but these nearby car parks have Blue Badge spaces. EV charging points are available in the Victoria Place Red car park, a short walk away.
