עמוד והגש הוא יצירה תיאטרלית מעניינת שמופיעה כעת בתיאטרון King's Head באנג'ל. ישנם רגעים מצחיקים מאוד שמזכירים את סרטי Carry On, קצת הומור כדורגל שיבדח מעריצים רבים ברחבי המדינה, ונגיעה של נוסטלגיה משנות ה-80 בצורה של כמה להיטי צמרת נהדרים, אבל בסופו של דבר, כיצירה תיאטרלית, זה לא מחזיק כמכלול בצורה הנוכחית. מקור חדשות התיאטרון המוביל בבריטניה מאז 1999.
