Stories - The Tap Dance Sensation tickets in Stockton-on-Tees

Stories – The Tap Dance Sensation brings RB Dance Company's narrative-driven tap spectacle to Stockton Globe. The show follows Icarus, a screen actor caught under the controlling grip of his film director, with the conflict expressed through urban jazz, tap and percussion.

What the show is

Icarus has built success as a screen actor, but the director behind his career exerts an oppressive hold over him. After a confrontation, he finds himself unable to break free. RB Dance Company convey that struggle through tap, urban jazz and percussion, combining rhythm and physicality to carry the dramatic weight of the plot.

RB Dance Company and this production

RB Dance Company reached the finals of France's Got Talent in both 2018 and 2024. The company has played to audiences exceeding 300,000 across European dates and completed a sold-out run at the Peacock Theatre in 2024. The Stockton Globe engagement continues the show's UK presence.
