Stories with Skip – On the Farm is a 1-hour family workshop at Theatre Royal Brighton for ages 2.5–4, with play, craft and a story. Tickets for adult and child.
Stories with Skip – On the Farm is a one-hour workshop at Theatre Royal Brighton for children aged two and a half to four. Sessions centre on farm life, crops and countryside animals, moving through the venue's own spaces with play, a small craft and a story.
The workshop begins in the stalls foyer, where children can see, touch and play with items linked to the farm theme. Groups then move through the auditorium, searching and collecting between the seats, before completing a small craft and heading upstairs to a relaxed lounge for the story portion.
Skip the mouse is the mascot for the children's programme and occasionally appears during play, so young participants are encouraged to keep their eyes open.
The session is described as relaxed, gentle and suited to curious toddlers with their grown-ups. Both the adult and child must hold a ticket. The front doors open five minutes before the start time.
