The Bodyguard annuncia un tour nel Regno Unito e in Irlanda

I produttori Michael Harrison e David Ian hanno annunciato oggi le date della tournée nel Regno Unito e in Irlanda della produzione di successo firmata da Thea Sharrock del musical del West End The Bodyguard. La tournée ha debuttato al Mayflower Theatre di Southampton giovedì 12 febbraio 2015, prima di intraprendere un tour di due anni tra Regno Unito e Irlanda. Di seguito il calendario, con ulteriori date che saranno annunciate prossimamente.
Basato sul film Warner Bros. del 1992 candidato agli Oscar, scritto da Lawrence Kasdan, The Bodyguard ha libretto di Alex Dinelaris e ha debuttato all’Adelphi Theatre nel West End di Londra nel dicembre 2012, dove ha registrato il tutto esaurito e standing ovation. Ha ottenuto quattro candidature ai Laurence Olivier Awards, tra cui Miglior Nuovo Musical e Miglior Scenografia.
Frank Farmer, ex agente dei Servizi Segreti diventato bodyguard, viene ingaggiato per proteggere la superstar Rachel Marron da uno stalker sconosciuto. Ognuno si aspetta di comandare; quello che non si aspettano è innamorarsi.
