Il tour UK di Dear Evan Hansen è stato annunciato per il 2024/25, con debutto al Nottingham Playhouse. Tour UK di Dear Evan Hansen È stata annunciata una nuova produzione del musical pluripremiato Dear Evan Hansen, vincitore di Olivier, Tony e Grammy. Il tour UK di Dear Evan Hansen partirà dal Nottingham Playhouse nel settembre 2024. La nuova produzione itinerante sarà diretta dal Direttore Artistico del Nottingham Playhouse, Adam Penford. Il regista Adam Penford ha dichiarato: “Dear Evan Hansen entusiasma il pubblico su entrambe le sponde dell’Atlantico da quando ha debuttato nel 2015. La storia potente di Evan coinvolge e commuove, raccontata attraverso un testo avvincente e una partitura musicale straordinaria. Questa prima, importante, nuova ed emozionante produzione nel Regno Unito offre l’opportunità di rileggere alcuni dei suoi temi contemporanei e presentare questa nuovissima versione a Nottingham e in tutto il Paese. Non vedo l’ora di iniziare molto presto la ricerca del nostro Evan.” Ricco di alcune delle canzoni di musical theatre più amate dell’ultimo decennio, Dear Evan Hansen ha musiche di Benj Pasek e Justin Paul (compositori premiati con l’Oscar per The Greatest Showman) e libretto di Steven Levenson. Tra i numerosi riconoscimenti figurano il Tony® Award come Miglior Musical, l’Olivier Award come Miglior Nuovo Musical e il Grammy® Award come Miglior Album di Musical Theatre.
