Dopo una stagione da record nel West End, Paul Taylor-Mills e Bill Kenwright hanno annunciato il tour nel Regno Unito di Heathers The Musical, in arrivo in un teatro vicino a voi nel 2021, con una tappa anche a Londra.
Dopo due stagioni da record al londinese The Other Palace e il trasferimento nel West End al Theatre Royal Haymarket nel 2018, Heathers the Musical partirà per un attesissimo tour nel Regno Unito nel 2021. Prodotto da Bill Kenwright e Paul Taylor-Mills, questo rock musical ad alto tasso di energia, una black comedy basata su uno dei più grandi cult teen di sempre con Winona Ryder e Christian Slater, torna alla grande!
La “classe” in tour del 2021 della Westerberg High include Rebecca Wickes (Veronica Sawyer), Simon Gordon (JD), Maddison Firth (Heather Chandler), Merryl Ansah (Heather Duke), Lizzy Parker (Heather McNamara), Mhairi Angus, Andy Brady, Callum Connolly, Liam Doyle, Georgina Hagen, Bayley Hart, Kurt Kansley e Daisy Twells.
L’acclamato duo di autori, Laurence O’Keefe e Kevin Murphy, con la loro adattamento musicale di successo ha collezionato ottimi riscontri a Los Angeles e New York; la première europea lo ha visto diventare lo spettacolo con il maggiore incasso al The Other Palace di Andrew Lloyd Webber, con oltre 20.000 biglietti venduti durante la programmazione e il tutto esaurito già prima della serata di gala d’apertura. Un successo replicato anche con il trasferimento al Theatre Royal Haymarket.
Il musical è diretto dal pluripremiato regista americano per cinema e teatro Andy Fickman, con coreografie di Gary Lloyd di Thriller Live, scene e costumi di David Shields, luci di Ben Cracknell e sound design di Dan Samson.
