RECENSIONE: Shock Treatment, Kings Head Theatre ✭✭✭
Julie Atherton può interpretare senza sforzo un personaggio goffo e nerd, una seducente sirena slanciata e un magnete del feticismo con un completo da Infermiera in vinile che copre a malapena il suo décolleté e contiene a stento il suo petto ansimante, tutto come parte dello stesso personaggio. La performance di Atherton racchiude la promessa sottostante del pezzo: anche i nerd e gli outsider possono vivere sesso, droga e rock'n'roll! Così fanno anche gli altri due magnetici, ma opposti, attori con una potenza seduttiva totalmente impegnata. Ben Kerr è esilarante nella parte di Brad, il marito tranquillo e leggermente monotono di Janet, con un corpo da Dio greco.
