RECENSIONE: La Capra, o Chi è Sylvia?, Theatre Royal Haymarket ✭✭✭
"The Goat" è un'opera affascinante di uno dei più grandi drammaturghi americani, una rappresentazione della vita completamente sconvolta da un'imperdonabile trasgressione. Damian Lewis e Sophie Okonedo sono eccellenti nei ruoli della coppia in dissoluzione Martin e Stevie, abilmente supportati dal debuttante del West-End Archie Madekwe nei panni del loro figlio Billy. L'opera soffre di troppo 'raccontare' piuttosto che 'mostrare'; nonostante i migliori sforzi di Jason Hughes, il suo personaggio Ross è poco più di un espediente narrativo. The Sweethearts è uno spettacolo davvero affascinante, e sono certo che Sarah Page abbia un futuro molto promettente come drammaturga.
