RECENSIE: Thoroughly Modern Millie, Landor Theatre ✭✭✭
Het danswerk is het enige aspect dat consequent een stijlvolle, lekker campy en heerlijke 'over-the-top' aanpak uitstraalt. De cast bestaat stuk voor stuk uit getalenteerde dansers en de choreografieën spatten van het podium vol energie en speelplezier. Lane en Huddleston hebben voortreffelijk werk geleverd door een strakke eenheid in de passen en bewegingen te creëren; de ensemblenummers zijn uiterst precies en iedereen danst tot in de puntjes gelijk in een uitgelaten synchroniciteit. Zowel 'Thoroughly Modern Millie' als 'Forget About The Boy' zijn een genot om naar te kijken, en er wordt serieus goed getapt door George Hinson, Thomas Inge en het complete vrouwelijke ensemble.
