Najmocniejszą stroną spektaklu „Getting Better Slowly” są bez wątpienia wykonawcy oraz ogrom serca włożony w tę historię. Mimo że akcja toczy się w kameralnym, intymnym świecie, jest on skonstruowany perfekcyjnie – na tyle, że każdy z nas bez trudu odnajdzie w nim cząstkę siebie. Jeśli chodzi o cel Pownalla, jakim było przybliżenie widzom tematyki zespołu Guillaina-Barrégo, został on w pełni zrealizowany. A przy okazji udało mu się stworzyć naprawdę wyjątkowe widowisko. Najświeższe wieści z brytyjskich scen od 1999 roku.
