Jordan, Pasquale, Washington and Lee Star In American Son

Producers have announced that Jeremy Jordan, Kerry Washington, Steven Pasquale and Eugene Lee will star in Broadway premiere of American Son at the Booth Theatre Broadway.
An all-star cast including Scandal's Kerry Washington, Bridges Of Madison Country's Steven Pasquale, Gem Of The Ocean's Eugene Lee and Smash's Jeremy Jordan will team up for the Broadway premiere of American Son, a new play by Broadway newcomer Christopher Demos-Brown.
The play is set in a Florida police station in the middle of the night, with a mother searching for her missing teenage son, and is described by the production as “a gripping tale of two parents caught in our national divide, with their worst fears hanging in the balance.”
American Son will be directed by Kenny Leon most recently represented on Broadway by Children Of A Lesser God and the recipient of a 2014 Tony Award for A Raisin In The Son which starred Denzel Washington.
American Son will have scenic design by Derek McLane, costume design by Dede Ayite and sound design by Peter Fitzgerald.
American Son is produced on Broadway by Jeffrey Richards, Simpson Street, LLC, Rebecca Gold, Will Trice, Stephen Byrd, Alia Jones-Harvey, Bruce Robert Harris & Jack W. Batman, Greenleaf Productions, Van Kaplan and Gabrielle Palitz.
American Son will start previews at the Booth Theatre, Broadway on October 6, 2018 with an opening night set for November 4, 2018.
