Want to learn how to sing or dance like the West End’s best while you’re in lockdown? Top musical theatre stars have come together for Westend Bootcamps - Monday Masterclasses.

The weekly online classes, set up by actor Sam Attwater, will start on Monday (13 April), kicking off with Alice Fearn, most recently in Come From Away but previously Elphaba in Wicked. She has also been in London productions of Les Misérables, Into the Woods, Shrek The Musical, Annie Get Your Gun and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

Future artists already lined up include:

Choreographer Aaron Renfree (Dancing on Ice and Britain’s Got Talent) on 20 April

Actor Luke Bayer (Jamie in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and Soho Cinders) on 27 April

Actor Oliver Savile (Falsettos, Fiyero in Wicked, Les Misérables, Cats UK tour, Phantom of the Opera)  on 4 May

Actor Joel Montague (Ogie in Waitress, Guys and Dolls, School of Rock, Funny Girl, Falsettos) on 11 May.

For just £7.50, you log in via Zoom and enjoy an hour’s class from 7pm, followed by a 15-minute Q&A, all streamed into your home.

Sam said: “The small amount to pay of £7.50 is worth every penny and a great way to support professional performers who have faced losing their jobs whilst continually supporting the learning and development of many children, students and adults alike who love and believe in the arts.”
