Wicked, the multi-award winning musical has announced that it will open it's 20th ticket booking period on Monday with over 500,000 new tickets going on sale for performances until Saturday 5 November 2016. Wicked has been seen by nearly 7 million people in London alone and recently played its 3750th performance at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. As the show approaches its 10th anniversary, Wicked is set to become the 9th longest running show in the West End following the final performance of The 39 Steps this weekend. Wicked is now also the 19th longest-running show in West End theatre history.
Based on the international best-selling novel by Gregory Maguire that ingeniously re-imagined the stories and characters created by L. Frank Baum in ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’, Wicked tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two sorcery students. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
Wicked was recently voted by our critics as the Number 1 long-running show in London, recently garnering a five star review from this website. BOOK TICKETS FOR WICKED
