50+ Movers tickets in Edinburgh

50+ Movers is a weekly Tuesday morning dance class at Edinburgh Playhouse, open to anyone aged 50 and over. Led by dance teacher and choreographer Jo Richards, sessions run in the Boards Bar and cover pop, disco, musicals and retro music across a thirteen-session autumn term.

What the class involves

Each session runs from 10:00 to 11:00 in the Boards Bar at Edinburgh Playhouse. The playlist spans pop, disco, musical theatre and retro tracks, and the class is open to anyone aged 50 or over who wants to meet new people and get fitter through movement.

Jo Richards has taught and choreographed professionally since 2005, working across community and professional projects. She also teaches weekly at Dance Base National Centre for Dance and runs workshops throughout the year.

Booking, membership and access

ATG offers individual-session and block-booking options. The listing also describes opportunities for members to rehearse on the Edinburgh Playhouse stage and a discount at Little Picardy. Check the current package and its terms when booking.

As a Creative Learning event, tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. The Boards Bar does not have wheelchair access and there is no lift to the space. Anyone with access requirements or questions should contact edinburghcreative@theambassadors.com before booking.
