Christmas Carol Goes Wrong returns to the West End for a limited six-week run at Wyndham’s Theatre on Charing Cross Road, from 18 December 2026 to 23 January 2027. MISCHIEF, the company behind The Play That Goes Wrong, brings back the Cornley Amateur Drama Society for another attempt at Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, following a sold-out first West End season.

The Cornley crew battle miscommunication, delays to their set, actors missing in action and a growing feud over who will play the lead. With no hope of a silent night, the much-loved story of Ebenezer Scrooge becomes a festive disaster. The Guardian called it “a Dickensian disaster to savour” and WhatsOnStage “an irresistible Christmas treat”.

The show runs for approximately 2 hours 20 minutes including an interval. Dave Hearn, part of the original cast of The Play That Goes Wrong and the BBC comedy series The Goes Wrong Show, returns to the West End as Max, leading a company that includes James Akka, Adam Elliott, Matthew Howell, Luke Pierre, Aein Nasseri, Dumile Sibanda and Ashley Tucker.
