Michael Grandage Company and Headlong present the world première of James Graham’s new play Labour of Love, starring Martin Freeman and Tamsin Grieg. This razor-sharp political comedy reunites James Graham and director Jeremy Herrin following their previous collaboration on This House, and plays at the Noël Coward Theatre from the 15 September for 11 weeks only.
This Party isn't over. Its just getting startedLabour MP David Lyons cares about modernisation and "electability"... his constituency agent, Jean Whittaker cares about principles and her community. Set away from the Westminster bubble in the party's traditional northern heartlands, this is a clash of philosophy, culture and class against the backdrop of the Labour Party over 25 years as it moves from Kinnock through Blair into Corbyn... and beyond?
Labour of Love sees the return of MGC to the West End following Photograph 51 starring Nicole Kidman and their acclaimed 2013/14 season, also at the Noël Coward Theatre.

REVIEW: Quiz, Noel Coward Theatre ✭✭✭✭
Whilst Quiz doesn’t quite reach the giddy brilliance of Labour of Love, this is a hugely entertaining evening in the theatre, full of comedy and thought, and confirms James Graham as a major playwright of our time.

REVIEW: Amour, Royal Academy Of Music ✭✭✭✭
If tonight’s performance represents the future of British theatre then we are in very safe hands indeed. OK, so the story is about as substantial as the walls that kept toppling throughout the production. However, a beautiful score and some first-class performances showed that Amour really can be a labour of love. Now, where can I find a cast recording?
