Musical Theatre Masterclass (7 - 12s) tickets in Manchester

Musical Theatre Masterclass is a full-day workshop for young performers aged 7 to 12, held at Palace Theatre Manchester during half term. Led by industry professionals, the day covers singing, acting and dance, and is open to beginners as well as those with some previous training.

What the day involves

The masterclass runs from 10:00 to 16:00, covering vocal coaching, drama and dance. The content is inspired by productions shown on the Palace Theatre's own stages. Sessions are pitched at beginners through to intermediates, so children with some prior training will still find the work stretching.

Industry professionals lead each element, with a focus on building a broad performance foundation and developing confidence across all three areas of musical theatre.

The sharing and practical considerations

The final half-hour, from 15:30 to 16:00, is set aside for a sharing of the day's work. All participants must complete a details form before the session.

The workshop spaces are in the front-of-house areas of the theatre and are only accessible via stairs. Families whose child has access needs are asked to contact the INSPIRE Team at ManchesterINSPIRE@ATGEntertainment.com before booking, so that appropriate support can be discussed in advance.
