Musical Theatre Masterclass - Six (Ages 9-12 years) tickets in Brighton

Jodie Steele leads this 90-minute musical theatre workshop for children aged 9–12 at Theatre Royal Brighton, inspired by the musical SIX. Participants work through a professional warm-up before learning a routine from the show, with friends and family invited onto the stage for the final ten minutes to watch and join a Q&A with Jodie.

What the session involves

Jodie Steele guides participants through a professional musical theatre warm-up before teaching a routine drawn from SIX. The session takes place on the stage of Theatre Royal Brighton itself. Entry is through the Stage Door on Bond Street rather than the main front-of-house entrance.

Who is leading it

Jodie Steele has played Katherine Howard in the UK tour of SIX, the show that directly inspires this session. Her other stage credits include Heather Chandler in Heathers, Elphaba in Wicked, and Paulette Bonafonté in a concert version of Legally Blonde. The closing Q&A gives participants and their families a chance to put questions to her directly on stage.

Practical information

The session is open to children aged 9–12 and runs for one hour and thirty minutes. Friends and family are welcomed onto the stage for the final ten minutes only and do not attend the full workshop.
