Palace Theatre Tour

Palace Theatre, Manchester
21 September 2026 to 2 October 2026 (selected dates)

About the show

Guided tour of Palace Theatre Manchester's Grade II listed auditorium and restricted areas, book in advance via ATG INSPIRE, approx. 1 hr 45 mins.

Palace Theatre Tour tickets in Manchester

The Palace Theatre Tour offers guided access to a Grade II listed Manchester theatre that has been open since 1891. Led by the ATG INSPIRE team, each tour lasts approximately one hour and forty-five minutes and takes in the auditorium alongside restricted areas not ordinarily open to the public.

What the tour covers

This is a venue tour, not a performance, and no show ticket is included. Visitors explore the auditorium and, subject to the building's operational schedule on the day, may access restricted areas. Because the Palace remains a working theatre, specific areas cannot be guaranteed and routes may vary between tours.

Tours are guided by the ATG INSPIRE team. The meeting point is the main entrance; latecomers may not be admitted, so arriving at least five minutes before the stated start time is advised. Tickets must be booked in advance as none are sold on the door.

Access and practical considerations

The tour route unavoidably involves a large number of stairs. Anyone with limited mobility or other access requirements is encouraged to contact the team before booking at ManchesterINSPIRE@atgentertainment.com so that appropriate support can be discussed.

Choosing your tickets

Start with the venue and date that suit your trip, then compare the seats offered by ATG. Check the final total, any restricted-view information and the ticket conditions before paying. Availability and prices can change; the listed run dates do not guarantee seats for every performance.

ATG lists a running time of 1 hour 40 minutes. Confirm the performance time and any interval information when booking.

Plan your theatre visit

Our venue guides cover getting there, seating and access information: Palace Theatre, Manchester. If you need accessible seating or an assisted performance, check the arrangements for that venue and date with ATG before booking.

Frequently asked questions

Does the tour include entry to a show?

No. The Palace Theatre Tour is solely a guided tour of the building. It does not include a show ticket or admission to any performance.

What should I do if I have mobility or access requirements?

Contact the ATG INSPIRE team at ManchesterINSPIRE@atgentertainment.com before booking. The tour involves a significant number of stairs, so getting in touch in advance allows the team to advise on how best to support your visit.
