Steve Hackett - Best of Genesis & Solo Gems tickets and regional UK dates

Steve Hackett performs material from his Genesis years alongside highlights from his solo catalogue on the 2026 UK tour. Two new members join the band for these dates, replacing long-standing players on keyboards and drums.

About the show

Hackett was part of the classic Genesis line-up from 1971 until 1977, contributing guitar work across albums from Nursery Cryme through to Wind And Wuthering, including Selling England By The Pound. Since leaving the band he has built a solo catalogue of more than 30 albums, drawing on rock, classical, jazz, blues and world music influences.

The 2026 touring band includes Nad Sylvan on vocals, Jonas Reingold on bass and backing vocals, and Rob Townsend on saxophone, flutes and additional keyboards. Lalle Larsson takes over keyboard duties from Roger King, and Felix Lehrmann replaces Craig Blundell on drums and percussion.

Aylesbury date

The Aylesbury Waterside Theatre show marks Hackett's 16th Friars appearance. Friars first booked Genesis in 1970, and the venue has a long-documented involvement with the band's early career. Steve Hackett first played Friars Aylesbury in June 1971.
