Dr John Cooper Clarke tickets and regional UK dates

Dr John Cooper Clarke brings his 20-date 2026 UK tour to venues including Theatre Royal Brighton, Victoria Hall Stoke-on-Trent and Grand Opera House York, performing work from his forthcoming collection 'Have It' alongside fan favourites, with special guests Nigel Planer, Luke Wright, John Agard and Salena Godden.

What to expect

The tour centres on 'Have It', a completely new poetry collection following 'WHAT', his 2024 Sunday Times bestseller. The evening also includes established favourites alongside the new work.

Four special guests join the bill: Nigel Planer, Luke Wright, John Agard and Salena Godden, making this a broader poetry event rather than a solo headline set.

Background and age guidance

In 2025, Dr John Cooper Clarke became the first poet to headline a UK arena, performing at Manchester's Co-op Live, and received the 2025 Northern Music Award for his influence in music. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. No running time is listed in the ATG listing, so check with your specific venue before travelling.
