The story and what to expect

The tale follows a Princess cursed by the evil Carabosse on the eve of her eighteenth birthday, with only true love's kiss able to lift the spell. The production pairs this familiar story with elaborate sets, costumes and special effects alongside popular musical numbers.

Jordan Lee Davies, whose West End credits include Les Misérables and Chicago, plays the villainous Carabosse. Channel 5 Milkshake presenter David Ribi takes on Prince Vincent.

The cast

Laura Main, known for Call the Midwife, appears as Fairy Snowfall. Andy Collins returns to the Aylesbury stage as Lester the Jester, and Leon Craig reprises the dame role, this time as Nanny Nora, for a third consecutive year.

Practical considerations for families

A live water fight takes place during Act 2. The venue advises audiences to bring coats and umbrellas. Water pistols are permitted but must measure under 55 cm; larger ones will not be allowed into the auditorium. Any pistol brought in pre-filled must be emptied at the door. Free water-filling stations are provided on site on the day.
