帕克剧院宣布新剧演员阵容，主题聚焦男性心理健康

Park Theatre Park90 剧季中唯一一部由男性执导的剧作《Distance》公布演员阵容，聚焦男性心理健康与自杀议题。

该剧由 Alex McSweeney 编剧，Frantic Assembly 副导演 Simon Pittman 执导，演员包括 Doreene Blackstock、 Adam Burton、 Richard Corgan、 Lindsay Fraser 以及 Abdul Salis。

《Distance》世界首演将于 2018 年 9 月 5 日至 29 日在伦敦 Park Theatre 上演，讲述由 Adam Burton 饰演的史蒂文（Steven）的故事。刚经历分居、正走向离婚的他，在前往工作面试的路上偶遇一位旧友。复杂的近过去与脆弱的当下相互碰撞，史蒂文试图理清身边的世界，以及自己在其中的位置。

我们被迅速带入他混乱而痛苦的内心世界：一次日常邂逅逐步失控，演变成黑暗、令人不安且难以克制的局面。作品凸显男性心理健康与自杀问题——在英国，自杀是 45 岁以下男性的首要死因。

《Distance》对精神疾病及其对个人、家庭与周遭社会的影响进行了急迫而深刻的审视。

继在 Park Theatre 口碑之作《Out Of The Cage》之后，Fine Line Productions、Alex McSweeney 与 Simon Pittman 再度携手，以黑色幽默与充满视觉张力的方式呈现心灵图景。本剧作为 Park Theatre “Script Accelerator” 剧本孵化计划的一部分完成开发。

Alex 表示：“我写《Distance》，是因为我认识的五个人在五年多一点的时间里选择了结束生命。他们全都是男性。我想尝试理解：为什么自杀在男性群体中尤为普遍。
