Dan and Jeff are back in the West End for Christmas. Potted Panto returns to the Apollo Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue from Sunday 6 December 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027, and the full cast for this year's season has now been confirmed. The run lands in a milestone year for the pair, two decades after their original Potted Potter opened in London in October 2006.

Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner lead the show
Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, the double act behind the whole Potted series, wrote the show with director Richard Hurst and star in it once again. Their formula is simple and very silly: take seven classic pantomimes and race through them in 70 minutes, from rubbing Aladdin's lamp to the golden streets of Dick Whittington's London and getting Cinderella to the ball.
The pair have been working together since 2005. Between them they have taken the Potted shows to New York, a six year residency in Las Vegas and a French language run in Paris, and they have picked up Olivier Award nominations along the way. The Stage put it neatly: "Dan and Jeff are masters of the art of comedic brevity."
A West End debut and some familiar faces
Joseph Maudsley joins as alternate performer, and this season marks his West End debut. He is hardly new to the Potted world, having spent more than ten years performing in Potted Potter across Australia, Canada, the UAE, the Philippines, New Zealand and the USA. More recently he has toured the UK, Ireland and Australia with his solo Edinburgh Fringe show Biff To The Future.
Georgia Corrigan returns for a second year as Fairy Bow Bells. Originally from Bridlington, she trained at ArtsEd and has studied clowning with Spymonkey. Sammy Johnson is back for his third year with the show as Mr Nut, having trained at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and ALRA. Both also work as assistant stage managers on the production.
Twenty years of Potted shows
The anniversary comes at a busy time for the brand. The original Potted Potter is about to open its second season in Paris, and a UK touring cast is playing Chicago over the festive period.
Behind the scenes, the set is by Simon Scullion, costumes are by Nicky Bunch, lighting is by Tim Mascall, sound is by Tom Lishman and the music is by Phil Innes. The show is presented by James Seabright, and the official billing promises fun "whether you're six or 106."
