The story

Roxie Hart is a housewife and nightclub dancer who shoots her lover when he threatens to leave her. Rather than face the consequences, she hires Chicago's most cunning criminal lawyer to turn her crime into a media sensation, bringing her into direct rivalry with fellow inmate Velma Kelly. The musical's themes take in corruption, greed, adultery and exploitation.

The score includes 'All That Jazz', 'Cell Block Tango' and 'Razzle Dazzle'. The production has won six Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards and a Grammy.
