Ricky Gervais brings his new stand-up show Legend to Woking Theatre, part of a tour running from autumn 2026 through to the end of 2027. The show has been acquired by Netflix and will be filmed as his fifth special for the platform.
Gervais has described Legend as his most personal show to date, noting that he feels freer than ever to address the subjects he covers in the material. The tour concludes at the end of 2027, when the show will be recorded for Netflix. The platform has already purchased the special, though the fee has not been disclosed.
Legend follows four previous Netflix stand-up specials: Humanity, Supernature, Armageddon and Mortality. Both Armageddon and Mortality won a Golden Globe for Stand-Up Comedy on Television.
The tour announcement states that a portion of ticket proceeds will go to charity, following donations from the preceding Mortality tour.
Woking Theatre has set a 16+ age guidance for this show. No running time is listed in the current information.
