Lucy Beaumont - Bad at Quiz Shows, Good with Weirdos tickets and regional UK dates

Lucy Beaumont brings Bad at Quiz Shows, Good with Weirdos to venues across the UK, following a sell-out debut tour. The show is a new hour of stand-up built around her recent television appearances and is recommended for audiences aged 14 and over.

What the show is about

The material centres on Beaumont's television quiz misadventures: she cost a contestant £79,000 on The Wheel and failed to prepare adequately for Mastermind. She has turned these episodes into surreal stand-up storytelling rather than stepping back from the subject.

The show also draws on her time going into hiding after Celebrity Traitors and her attempt at creating cow udder couture on The Great British Sewing Bee. The connecting thread throughout is a comic outlook in which ordinary life consistently refuses to behave itself.

Audience considerations

The show carries a recommended age of 14 and over. No running time is listed in the ATG listing, so check with your specific venue before travelling. Access provision varies by building, contact the relevant venue directly for details on wheelchair access, hearing loops or other requirements.
