Giovanna Fletcher stars in the world stage premiere of S.J. Watson's thriller Before I Go To Sleep. Book UK tour tickets.
Giovanna Fletcher leads the world stage premiere of Before I Go To Sleep, a psychological thriller adapted from S.J. Watson's bestselling novel. Christine wakes each morning with no memory of the past twenty years and, as she tries to reconstruct her life, disturbing truths about those closest to her begin to surface.
Christine's life appears settled and loving, but every night's sleep erases two decades of memory. Each morning she must piece together who she is from scratch, unable to recognise even her husband. As fragments of her past slowly reassemble, the picture that forms is far darker than the one she has been given, raising urgent questions about identity, trust and the reliability of those she depends on most.
The production comes from the same team behind the stage adaptation of The Girl on the Train. Giovanna Fletcher, known as an actor, author and podcaster, takes the central role in what is billed as the world stage premiere of this version of Watson's internationally published novel. The tour opens in January 2027 and visits multiple venues across the UK.
The production carries a parental guidance recommendation of 15 and above. It includes some strong language alongside scenes depicting traumatic events, physical altercation and psychological manipulation. Anyone with specific concerns about content or access should contact their venue directly before booking.
