RECENSIONE: Il Pianista di Willesden Lane, Teatro St James ✭✭✭✭✭
Il pezzo è raccontato in modo splendido e semplice, senza spettacoli o illusioni aggiuntive: solo una donna, il suo pianoforte e una storia - e mi sono aggrappato a ogni parola e a ogni nota. Mi aspettavo sniffate sparse e lo sfrigolio dei fazzoletti, ma è stato durante l'esecuzione di Golabek della Sonata ‘Al chiaro di luna’ di Beethoven e ‘Clair de Lune’ di Debussy che mi sono arreso all'esercito di nodi allo stomaco e al groppo in gola, scoppiando in lacrime - del tipo che ti scuote le spalle.
