RECENZJA: The Pianist of Willesden Lane, St James Theatre ✭✭✭✭✭
To opowieść snuta pięknie i prosto, bez zbędnych widowisk czy scenicznych trików: tylko jedna kobieta, jej fortepian i historia – a ja chłonąłem każde słowo i każdą nutę. Spodziewałem się tu i ówdzie pociągania nosem czy szelestu chusteczek, ale to gdzieś pomiędzy „Sonatą Księżycową” Beethovena a „Clair de Lune” Debussy’ego w końcu się poddałem. Ścisnęło mnie w dołku, poczułem dławiącą gulę w gardle i po prostu wybuchnąłem płaczem – takim, od którego aż trzęsą się ramiona. Najświeższe wieści z brytyjskich scen od 1999 roku.
