The story and setting

The familiar fairy tale is reimagined as a circus spectacular, with Goldilocks at the heart of a madcap troupe fighting to rescue their Big Top from a wicked rival circus owner with a hidden agenda. The plot turns on whether three extraordinary bears can tip the balance in the gang's favour. The production features hair-raising stunts and extraordinary special effects alongside riotous comedy.

Brian Conley leads the company as Billy Barnum, joined by his daughter Lucy Conley in the title role. David Robbins plays Dame Betty Barnum, Gary Milner takes on The Evil Ringmaster, magician Phil Hitchcock appears as the Magical Mysterioso, and roller-skating duo Gina & Lester complete the advertised cast.

Woking station is about five minutes' walk from the theatre. Regular services run from London Waterloo, taking roughly 25 to 30 minutes, and there are direct trains from Portsmouth, Basingstoke and Southampton.

The theatre has no designated parking bays of its own, but these nearby car parks have Blue Badge spaces. EV charging points are available in the Victoria Place Red Car Park, and bike racks are in Gloucester Square directly outside the theatre entrance.
